Steel Doors and Windows for Cold Climates, Crafted Without Compromise

In cold-weather regions, every opening should protect your comfort as much as it enhances your view. Our Cold Weather Collection brings together modern steel profiles with hidden performance features designed to keep warmth in and the elements out.

    Inside the Frame

Within every steel door and window lies a non-conductive thermal break that blocks the transfer of cold, eliminates condensation, and maintains consistent interior temperatures, all without compromising the sleek aesthetic steel is known for.

    Why Steel Wins

Steel frames offer unmatched strength, refined sightlines, and precision geometry. When paired with Low-E dual-pane tempered glass, they welcome abundant natural light while dramatically reducing heat loss and improving energy efficiency.

    Size

Can I get a size that is not listed?

Yes! We’re happy to make a fully custom door for you in the exact size you’re looking for. Visit our custom order page HERE and a specialist will reach out to you shortly.

Is the listed size for the door or the frame?

We measure the frame only because all of our doors come with the hand-made frame that they were made to be hung on.

**In the case of barn doors the measurement you see is the size of the door itself.

How big is the actual door if this is the measurement of the frame?

Our standard steel doors are 1 inch smaller on the height and 1 inch smaller on each side of the frame.

How tall is the split on Dutch doors?

The split of each dutch door is dependent on its overall height. On Air 4s, Air 5s, and Air Lites, the upper and lower door will be equal heights wight a middle split. For Air Getty Dutch doors, the lower door is kept smaller than the upper door. The lower door may range from 37”-44” depending on the overall size of the door.

Can I get dutch doors made with 2 bore holes?

Yes, the AIR Getty Dutch has 2 bore holes. The Air 4, 5, and Lite dutch doors have one bore hole, but can be special ordered with 2 bore holes so long as the height of the door is over 84”

    Color

What type of paint is used on these doors?

We use multiple coats of automotive-grade paint on these galvanized steel doors. After their welds have been galvanized, they are primed and baked. Once they’ve gone through this process, they are clear-coated and ready to ship.

Can I order a white exterior door or window?

No. White paint is very sensitive to oxidization and discoloration and will show wear within a matter of weeks when installed outdoors.

    What colors do you offer?

Our exterior colors include Black, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Sunset Pink, Montecito Mint, Palm Desert Sand, Angeles Green, Brushed Silver and Pewter.

Our interior colors include all of the above, plus white.

    Are these doors powder coated?

No, these doors are not powder coated. Instead, we use automotive-grade paint.

Can I get a custom color?

Yes, you are able to get a custom color through our custom department. There will be an additional cost for custom colors. Fill in your information HERE in order to speak with someone from our team to start the process of designing your custom door.
