Rocky Mountain Hardware

Rocky Mountain Hardware is a manufacturer of hand-finished architectural hardware. PINKYS carries the collection so the same hardware can be specified alongside the steel doors and windows PINKYS builds. The guide below covers how to choose Rocky Mountain Hardware by project type, finish, and door pairing.

For architects and specifiers

For architects and specifiers, the reason to source Rocky Mountain Hardware through PINKYS is coordination. Hardware and door are specified together, so handing, prep, and finish are settled once rather than reconciled across two suppliers. PINKYS can supply product specifications and finish references for submittals and prep steel doors to receive the selected trim, so the assembly arrives ready to hang.

Finish consistency matters across a project. Because the finishes are hand-applied, specify all hardware for a project together where possible, so the finish reads consistently from the entry through to the cabinetry.

For builders and contractors

For builders and contractors, ordering hardware and door as one project removes a coordination step from the schedule. Lead times are confirmed at order, and door prep is handled by PINKYS rather than in the field, which keeps the install predictable. One point of contact covers both the opening and the hardware that hangs in it.

For homeowners and designers

For homeowners and designers, Rocky Mountain Hardware is where a door stops feeling builder-grade. The weight of the hardware, the hand-applied finish, and the range of options give an entry a sense of permanence that plated hardware does not. Because every finish is applied by hand, pieces vary slightly and continue to develop character with use.

Not sure which finish suits the space? Request a finish sample. A finish reads differently in daylight, in a dark entry, or against a steel door than it does on a screen, and a sample settles the choice before anything is specified.

Choosing a finish

Rocky Mountain Hardware offers a range of hand-applied finishes, from lighter tones to dark, patinated ones. The right finish depends on the door, the light in the room, and the other metals it sits near. Request a sample of any finish under consideration before specifying.

Pairing with PINKYS steel doors

Rocky Mountain Hardware and PINKYS steel doors suit the same projects: openings where weight and hand-finished detail are the point. PINKYS can prep steel doors for the selected Rocky Mountain Hardware trim, and both ship on one order.

Common questions

Can Rocky Mountain Hardware be installed on a steel door?

Yes. PINKYS preps steel doors to receive the selected trim and can supply hardware and door on one order.

Are the finishes hand-applied?

Yes. Hand-applied finishes vary slightly from piece to piece and continue to develop character with use.

Can hardware and door be ordered together?

Yes. PINKYS carries Rocky Mountain Hardware alongside the steel doors it builds, so both can be specified and delivered as one coordinated order.

How do I choose a finish?

Request a finish sample. A finish reads differently in person than on screen, so a sample settles the choice before you specify.
