Custom Metal Windows - Combine Traditional Style and Modern Flair with PINKYS

Beautiful metal fenestration.

That's an overly fancy way of referring to metal windows, and the complexity of that term is the polar opposite of what you receive with aluminum or steel windows. These windows aren't about being difficult - or fiddly. One of the main reasons to consider them is that they're extremely simple to use.

They're also stunning.

That's especially the case when you choose windows - and matching doors - from the PINKYS collection, which are designed to accentuate the best qualities of your home.

Why Choose a Metal Window?

When you think of metal windows, your mind may instantly be case toward massive bronze or steel frames, which take more away from the window than they provide. But that's not what a PINKYS metal window is. In all of our windows, the glass is the highlight - with the metal frames being a secondary point of focus - and the following are reasons to go metal with your windows.

Low Maintenance

The last thing you want from your windows is to see paint chipping or wood rotting away when they're offset against your wall. Unfortunately, that's a common problem with wooden windows - they need constant maintenance and repainting to avoid having them make a terrible impact on your home's architecture.

Metal windows are different.

They're so low maintenance that you barely need to touch them again once they're installed. So, maintenance no longer has to be a repeated project. It's just something you spend a few minutes on per year - with the help of PINKYS Iron Door Spray - to keep your window frames sparkling.

Superb Energy Efficiency

Energy efficiency may not be something you immediately associate with metal windows. That makes sense. Not only do the windows have a lot of glass - which allows energy to escape - but most metals are conductors that absorb heat and transfer it out (or into) your home.

PINKYS has solved those problems with two innovations:

Low-E glass and thermally broken windows.

The use of Low-E glass means you get windows that have a lower U-value, which is the measurement used to determine how much heat a material transmits. As for the metal frames, thermal breaking is a clever technique where we place a form of insulation between two pieces of metal - creating a barrier in the process - that stops heat from being transferred outside.

Narrow Sightlines

There are few things worse than having a gorgeous view out of your window disrupted by a frame constantly creeping into your sightline. That's where PINKYS' windows' narrow sightlines come into play - the frames are kept as thin as possible so your view is never disrupted.

Those sightlines also have aesthetic appeal and allow more light to stream into your home. That's perfect for those who love modernistic styles and hate the idea of their building being more frame than window.

Durable and Attractive

Finally, the main selling point of metal windows for many is their durability.

There's not much to say here other than a metal window frame – regardless of whether it's made using iron, steel, or another metal – is always going to be tougher than a wooden or plastic frame. That helps with the maintenance issue, as we mentioned earlier, but it also means you can rely on a metal window to serve your home for far longer than any other type of window.

The PINKYS Range

Perhaps you're not quite convinced yet? That's fine - we're happy to let our windows do the talking before you get in touch with our team. Here's a small sample of the metal windows on offer at PINKYS.

Single and Double Casement Windows

With their side hinges, casement windows are among the most common that you'll find in North America. PINKYS is more than happy to help you fill your window spaces with them - we have single and double casement windows depending on how big those spaces are.

All casement windows are easy to open - a quick twist of a crank is all you need - and come with our Low-E dual-pane glass.

Awning Windows

Do you live somewhere hot, humid, and rainy? If so, a casement window probably isn't for you - they swing outward and could let moisture inside. But you're not out of window options with PINKYS. We also have awning windows, such as the Air Window 0V 1H, that are designed with a hinge at the top.

Why does that matter?

The window itself acts as a shield against the rain when it's open, while still allowing you to get air circulating inside your home.

Fixed Windows

Sometimes, you don't need a window that opens. You just want something fixed. Unmoving. A window that looks stunning set against your walls and allows light to stream through without being an item that people will keep trying to adjust.

That's a PINKYS fixed window - The Fixed Square variant of the Air Window 0V 1H stays in place at all times.

Push-Out Windows

What if your casement window was a little more like a door?

That may sound like a strange concept, but it's what you get with a PINKYS Push-Out Window. While they're similar to our casement windows, push-out windows come with a handle instead of a crank. Beyond that, there's little difference - give the handle a tilt and you can push your window open as far as its hinges will take it.

Ring Pull Windows

Not all windows can have handles that are within easy reach. And if you want a sash window - which opens and closes by being pulled up and down - a handle may not do the job.

You need a PINKYS Ring Pull Window. Just slide your finger into the ring and tug at it. Or use a window pole to open and close windows that are too high for you to reach them by hand.

Trust PINKYS with Your Metal Windows

Energy-efficient glass, thermal breaking, and a huge choice of sizes and styles.

That trifecta alone is more than enough reason to trust PINKYS with your metal window needs. Throw in our stunning designs - directly inspired by the Californian sunset - and your choice is clear. You can check out windows on our collection page today or, if you're more of an up-close-and-personal shopper, you can visit our California showroom to get a glimpse of the windows that may soon adorn your home.
