Door Thickness

Door thickness is a crucial measurement when searching for locks and hardware. Many standard entrysets and door hardware units only fit thicknesses up to 1 3/4" (typical for wood doors).

PINKYS steel and iron exterior entry doors are thicker than that standard, requiring manufacturer supplied extension or thick door kits for compatibility, more often available through specialized door & hardware companies.
