What is Door Slide Direction?
Door slide direction refers to the direction in which your single Interior Pocket Top Track Slider door will slide open and pocket into, when looking at it from the exterior of the door itself.
You will need to make sure you have a sufficient cavity space (minimum 3.7" pre-finish work) within the wall on the side that the door will be pocketing into in order for these pocket doors to function properly.
Pocket Right
From the exterior, door panel will slide to the right, and pocket into the right wall.

Pocket Left
From the exterior, door panel will slide to the left, and pocket into the left wall.
Facing the door, while standing on the exterior of your space, the door panel will slide from right to left, pocketing into the wall to the left of the door.

Two included pocket inserts provide your single Interior Pocket Top Track Slider door the space necessary to comfortably slide in and out of your wall cavity. These pocket inserts require a minimum wall cavity width of 3.7" pre-finish work.

Recessed finger pulls come standard on our single Interior Pocket Top Track Sliders, providing a comfortable and ergonomic means to operate and slide your door open and closed.
Edge Pull

Guide Pin
Included with each of out double Interior Top Track Pocket Sliders is a floor mounted guide pin. This guide pin acts as a stabilizer for the door, guiding it along the correct plane when sliding open and closed.
Cleaning your Doors
The glass and the metal should be cleaned with our Iron Door Spray on a regular basis. This spray is specially made to leave a protective coating on your door, as well as keep the door clean from dirt and grime.
Spray our Iron Door Spray directly onto a microfiber towel, then wipe evenly along the surface of both the glass and metal. Spraying directly onto the window itself can more easily create streaks along the surface of the glass and door.
FAQs
Do I need to use a different glass cleaner and metal cleaner separately?
No, our Iron Door Spray will seamlessly clean each surface of your door. This will both clean your door, and give a layer of protection.
How do you mount the top track?
Our Interior Pocket Top Track Sliders come standard with ceiling mounted tracks. Wall mounted versions can be purchased by reaching out to one of our sales representatives here at PINKYS.
How do I know if I have enough space in my wall for the door to pocket into?
These single Interior Pocket Top Track Sliders require a minimum wall cavity of 3.7" pre-finish work in order for the door to function properly. You will want your installer to verify you have this 3.7" of space at minimum.
Can I install my Interior Pocket Top Track Slider in the opposite slide direction?
While you can install these Interior Pocket Sliders in the opposite direction as intended, this would swap the interior of the door to the exterior, and vise versa. There will be visual differences between the interior and exterior sides of the door, which is something to take into account. We highly suggest ordering and installing these pocket sliders in the slide direction in which they are intended.
How is a pocket top track sliding door different from a standard top track sliding door?
A standard top track sliding door typically has a sliding panel that slides and overlaps the adjacent wall. A pocket top track sliding door has it's door panel slide into a cavity pocket within the wall, hiding the door panel while in the open position.
Is the slide direction viewed from inside or outside?
The slide direction is always viewed from the exterior of the door itself.
