These exterior steel push out windows are pre-hung and include both the window and fully assembled frame. The jamb size is measured at 1.875” deep (net size) and made from Ottostumm hot rolled solid steel.

Drip Edge

These exterior steel push out windows feature a drip edge directly above the operable push out window panel. This drip edge serves as an additional barrier, preventing descending exterior elements from entering your space between the frame and operable panel itself, while still allowing the push out window to operate without obstruction.

Hardware

Each of these exterior steel push out windows include two locking handles (one on each side of the interior of the window) as well as four concealed friction hinges.

The locking handles include brass wedges attached to the frame of the window which the handle will lock onto. The friction stays, located at the top, bottom, left, and right of the window secure the the push out window in the open position.

Weather Stripping

These steel exterior push out windows come standard with pre-installed weather stripping around the entire perimeter of the push out window panel, as well as the frame. This creates a full seal and acts as a barrier from outdoor elements, helping to prevent cold or hot air from leaking out of the home, resulting in a much more energy efficient product.

Nailer Fin

These steel exterior push out windows feature a welded 2.8” nailer fin around the frame of the window, and are designed to be installed from the exterior of your space. This nailer fin is inset to allow for a 1/2” of finish work on the exterior of your home, and includes pre-drilled holes around the entire face of the fin.
