What is Door Slide Direction?

Door slide direction refers to the direction in which your Interior Barn Door will slide open, when looking at it from the exterior of the door itself.

Universal Slide Direction

Unlike most of our doors, our Barn Doors are made with a Universal Slide Direction, meaning you can install it to slide to either the left or the right, depending on where you place your top track in relation to your opening.

Top Track and Roller Hardware

Our Barn Doors come complete with top track and rolling hardware, as well as all mounting hardware. The two roller hardware units are mounted to the top of the door panel, with their wheels resting on it's top track.

The top track also houses door slide stops on both sides of the track, as well as anti-jump hardware to prevent the barn door from sliding or jumping off it's track. This combination provides a safe and reliable barn door system that is built to last.

Guide Pin

Included with each of out Barn Doors is a floor mounted guide pin. This guide pin acts as a stabilizer for the door, guiding it along the correct plane when sliding open and closed.

Cleaning your Doors

The glass and the metal should be cleaned with our Iron Door Spray on a regular basis. This spray is specially made to leave a protective coating on your door, as well as keep the door clean from dirt and grime.

Spray our Iron Door Spray directly onto a microfiber towel, then wipe evenly along the surface of both the glass and metal. Spraying directly onto the window itself can more easily create streaks along the surface of the glass and door.
